2. Read the following passages: Colossians 1:9-12; 2:6-7; 4:5-6. What are some basic ideas in these passages that deal with the Christian walk? What does it mean to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord?
3. What exactly does it mean to seek things above instead of things on earth? What are some things above that we should be seeking (cf. Matthew 6:33; 13:45; 18:12; Galatians 1:10)? Describe how Christ modeled for us the act of setting his mind on things above (cf. Philippians 2:5-8)?
4. If our old self died with Christ, why are we told to put to death what is earthly in us (cf. Galatians 2:20)? What does it mean to put the old self to death (cf. Romans 6:1-14)? How can we rule over sin (cf. Genesis 4:1-7)?
5. As Christians, we are called not only to put away some things but to replace them with good things (cf. Romans 13:14; Ephesians 4:20-24; Ephesians 6:11-14). What are some specific things we should strive to put on Describe our personal responsibility i putting on Godliness.
6. How do we know if we are living a life that is ruled by Christ (cf. James 4:7-8)? What does it mean to hear and listen to the voice of God (cf. Jeremiah 7:23; John 10:16-27)? Would you say that you are listening and obeying the voice of God? Explain.
